One of the many activities of our school is also music. The main purpose of the course is the active participation of children. For this reason, creative play is an integral element.  The channeling of knowledge is done through play and fun. In this way, children experience musical concepts empirically through speech, movement, singing, and the use of musical instruments accessible to their technical abilities and psychosynthesis. The experiential experience aims to activate the cognitive field and the emotional and psychomotor world of children and not to produce sterile knowledge, cut off from the special abilities of each child. Through the course, children not only learn but also communicate with each other, since it is a collective process. They activate their creative powers, their imagination and externalize their emotions, ideas and at the same time acquire the foundations to create later aesthetic criterion and attitude towards music. All teaching methods used are based on "mixes" of the well-known theories of music educators Orff, Kodaly, Dalcrose, Suzuki. Many scientific researches have been done from time to time on the influence of music on the human brain. The most recent study is that of the Institute of Education at the University of London which came to the following conclusions: Dealing with music is beneficial for children's behaviour, memory and intelligence.  Learning a musical instrument increases the left side of the brain, improving a student's memory ability by about 20%. Over time, music lessons significantly increase children's IQ.
